The design process for automotive sound-insulation mats is a systematic undertaking that requires a comprehensive approach, integrating acoustic principles, materials science, and overall vehicle structure.
Suitable for thin, flexible soundproofing mats (e.g., rubber, XPE, EPDM, etc., typically ≤5 mm in thickness).
- Roll the product into a cylindrical shape.
- Wrap the outer layer with plastic film or waterproof membrane to prevent moisture ingress.
- Secure the rolled cylinder using strapping bands or adhesive tape.
- Advantages: Space-saving, easy to handle, and convenient for on-site unrolling.
Suitable for relatively thick or rigid soundproofing mats (e.g., rubber mats ≥10 mm thick, composite soundproofing boards).
- Plastic film or foam interlayers are inserted between every few layers to prevent friction.
- The entire package is wrapped in plastic film to protect against dust and moisture.
- It can be placed on wooden or plastic pallets and secured with strapping bands to facilitate handling by forklifts.
- For export shipments, a wooden frame or shrink wrap may be added to enhance stability.

- The interior is packed with cushioning materials—such as foam boards and shredded paper—to prevent shifting and impact damage.
- For elongated products, the four corners can be secured with a wooden frame to prevent deformation.
- Wooden crates must comply with export standards; where necessary, fumigation treatment will be performed, and a corresponding certificate provided.
