CGI sound-absorbing materials typically exhibit structural characteristics such as porosity or a fibrous nature. When sound waves enter the pores or interstitial spaces within these materials, they induce vibrations in the internal air molecules; this process leads to the continuous dissipation of acoustic energy—converting it into thermal or other forms of energy—thereby achieving a sound-absorbing effect.

GCI sound absorption foam has the same characteristics and excellent noise insulator properties as rubber foam. It absolutely doesn’t absorb water & has no unlike polyurethane foam. It has a very low weight, oil and petrol resistant.
Lightweight, Waterproof: It is a waterproof light-weight thermal deadener with highly compressible closed cell foam formulation, it absolutely doesn’t absorb moisture and has no odor, and it’s flexible which make it easy to install with or without roller.
Widely Used: for car doors floor pan, roof, trunk,wheel arches, Boat and Golf Cart, such as hood, door, wheel arch, engine compartment, engine bays and body panels. It also fit for firewall, U type pipe, kitchen sink and computer case.

Step 1

Decide which part of the car you want to soundproof first: doors, floor, roof, trunk or hood.Soundproofing of each individual part of the car has its own result and effects on the overall outcome. Therefore, for the most effective result, we recommend that you install soundproofing material on all of the above main parts of the car.

Step 2

On the Internet on special websites or forums, find a guide on how to disassem-ble the interior of your car and read it carefully. Now dismantle the trim of the part of the car that you want to insulate. Be careful when removing the interior trim, avoid breaking the fasteners! To do this, use a special clip remover.

Step 3

After removing the interior trim, check what the standard sound insulation is made of. If it is made of jute or other fibrous material, temporarily remove it and reinstallit as a second layer on top of GCI. If the standard sound insulation is made of hard bitumen plates,and it is damaged or unstuck, remove it and install GCl in its place. If the standard sound insulation of bitumen is not damaged, then stick GCI on top of it, having thoroughly cleaned and degreased the surface of the standard sound insulation.

Step 4

Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface of the body with a degreaser and a dry. clean cloth before installing the material. For successful installation, the surface has to be dry and clean! The material will not be fixed and will not last long when applied on a wet or dirty surface. We recommend that you carry out all work wearing gloves and air the room from time to time.
